The March Group Moved Things Forward - A Seller's Testimonial

Dear Entrepreneur,
My partner, Rob, and I had been thinking about selling our company for several years. We thought if the opportunity ever came, we'd look at it very seriously. But we wanted to make the sale worthwhile for us. So while we had several people over the years who knocked on our door and asked us if we would be willing to sell, they backed away pretty quickly when we told them what it was going to take.
We got the March Group involved in early 2007. They walked us through the process and we told them that if they came up with a buyer who would give us a good value for our company, something that we felt like that we could be happy with, we were going to jump at the opportunity because you never know when it will come back around. We went ahead with them and it worked out really well for us.
The March Group put the company out to market and within a short time, they had two or three people who were looking at it. Only one came through and he was the one who eventually bought it.
I'm very happy that we sold. The change of pace has been rewarding although I am doing some things now that are requiring quite a bit of time, if not more time than when I was at Earthtec. It's a change of pace and I'm thinking about different things.
I am very appreciative of the way The March Group moved things forward. They brought agreements and eventually the buyer to the table and helped facilitate the entire process. And during the negotiations, if there was a better financial option for my partner Rob and me, then The March Group would step in and say, "This is the way that it needs to be." They did a good job.
